Listing and data
There is one way onto the board: the developer creates a read-only financial key in Steamworks and gives it to us, and we read the wishlist report from Steam's official API every day. The key is used for reading only: it is never logged, mailed or passed to anyone.
By connecting a key to list a game you agree that:
- Its wishlist numbers may appear on the game page, the board and the weekly digest (including boards ordered by the numbers, such as new listings, fastest growing and coming soon), and in our posts elsewhere.
- We may make and publish a video about the game (YouTube, X and so on). Whether, when and how often is our call, after review; paid promotion is reviewed the same way.
- Your account picture and developer name show on the board, Explore and the game page; without an account picture we may attach one, and you can ask us to change it. Anonymous games show neither.
- We read this game's net sales per day. Sales stay private by default and show only if you switch them on in Public settings. You can turn reading them off in the console, which deletes what was read.
You can withdraw the game from the console at any time: the page and the numbers stop being public at once; videos already published stay up. Deleting the key, or its group, in Steamworks stops the sync.
Use
Browsing the public pages is fine. Do not quote the numbers as an official Steam statistic or a commercial promise; they come from the developer's read-only key, and each page says when it was last updated.
Sponsorship
Prices are marked as unset. The ranked rows themselves do not carry ads.
